Newborn Diapering: Why Choose a Newborn Cloth Diaper Instead a One-Size

A newborn baby is a little bundle of delight. But that’s the thing. They are so little. Newborns can weigh from under 3 kgs to a little over 5 kgs. That makes them delightfully small but also a challenge to diaper. While cloth diapers are infinitely safer and easier to use on newborns, chances are you’re wondering whether you need newborn cloth diapers or one-size diapers will fit the bill.   Well, here are 7 reasons to choose a newborn diaper for your little bundle of joy:

  • The Best Fit

Newborn cloth diapers are best suited for small babies and offer the best and most comfortable fit.

  • Sized Small

Newborn cloth diapers are sized small and may also fit your preemie or low birthweight baby easily.

  • Reuse With Ease

Newborn diapers can be reused later if you’re planning additional babies.

  • All-In-One Diapers

The bumGenius newborn cloth diapers are all-in-one diapers that make cloth diapering easy and stress-free. No stuffing, diaper cover or folding needed.

  • Soft, Gentle Fit

The stretchy tabs, hook and loop closures ensure that baby has a perfect fit each time. Plus the leg and back casings are so gentle that they wouldn’t chafe baby’s sensitive skin.

  • Super-Absorbent

bumGenius newborn diapers have soakers that are made of exclusive Cotton Babies terry which means that not only are they super-absorbent but are also quick to dry, keeping baby comfy and rash-free.

  • Just Right for Newborn Weight

bumGenius newborn diapers fit babies weighing under 3 kgs to 6 kgs and fit below the navel, keeping the umbilical stump dry. So, are you ready to start using newborn diapers for your little one? Want to know more?

Here’s a customer review describing how cost-effective and cute these newborn diapers are:

Manidipa Mandal Date Added: 12/15/2012 Love the cute, trim size and happy colours --- I got Sassy (dark bright orange) and Dazzle (purple) for my baby. Just got a couple because they aren't the cheapest solution for a newborn --- I'm not yet sure how long they'll work (hoping about a couple of months, after which the one-size diapers should fit? or will the absorption of this be outgrown before the size is?). But NO CONTEST vs using tons of disposables in the early poopy days -- it makes one sick to see so much waste, no pun intended! In fact, I'd buy a dozen if I planned to have more children --- since they won't be used for long and the quality looks great, I'm betting you could use these for two or three children, which would then make the cost far more economical.
